Welcome

Hi there and thanks for visiting. I’m Lizzy Ross and I am an actor, artistic director, voice over artist, writer, producer, graphic artist, and art director, depending on the day (on most days I’m more than one of the above.)

I am the creator and producer of “True Story…” an ongoing storytelling series that gives a supportive platform for storytellers of several mediums to tell their unique, and truthful, stories. During the pandemic our storytelling was hosted digitally and we will soon return to our regularly scheduled storytelling program of true stories written and read by EST/LA members and close friends. Please check and like our Facebook page or go to our website, truestory.world, for more details and come by if you can.

I’m also a board member and former Co-Artistic Director of Ensemble Studio Theatre/LA . We have had a transition to new leadership recently and are now refocusing our efforts on new work and programming and it’s going to be awesome. Please check our website for updates on all things going on.

Our very first True Story production, the Ovation Nominated and LADCC Winner  WET: A DACAmented Journey written and performed by Alex Alpharaoh has received so much support and critical success and has performed across the country in many venues including, The Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center Education, Skirball Cultural Center, Arts Emerson, as well as colleges and universities in multiple cities. The play was also filmed for Center Theatre Group for their digital stage to much acclaim. For more information about WET and to see some of the press response please visit dacamentedjourney.com.

On the art and design side, I’ve most recently been an Art Director for corporate clients and celebrated non-profits.  For many years I’ve been branding and designing licensed toy products that can be found in Target and Walmart, Go Games! Stores, as well as creating presentation graphics seen at Comic-Con in both San Diego and New York. On my desk right now is artwork for The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead, LEGO Dimensions, Shopkins, and The At-Choo Foundation.  There’s a lot going on over here. For more info on work please meander over to my site, lizzyross.com.

Please hop around this site to hear voice over samples and check back now and then and I’ll post more updates and links to my work.

Wishing you all the best.
